The Valdrin Codex A record of what we agreed to remember

Karn-Dol

A mountain range so thoroughly excavated its weight has settled into the mantle. The peaks are hollow, riddled with ventilation shafts that steam in winter and hum with subterranean winds. Entire valleys are artificial, carved from the spoil of unimaginable mines. Rivers have been diverted for millennia to power dwarven contraptions, leaving the original watercourses dry and forgotten.

What the map shows

Mountain 94%, snow 6% of the ground inside the border.
