Religions
Ten answers to the same question, nine of them armed.
Atheism
No one is listening. Act accordingly.
Atheism is the absence of belief in the existence of gods. It's not a belief that there are no gods, but rather a lack of belief in any deities. Atheists may hold various perspectives on morality, purpose, and the nature of reality, often finding explanations for these concepts without relying on supernatural or divine beings.
Aurism
The smallest kindness is the whole of the work.
Candles flicker in quiet halls while soft hymns drift over stone floors. Aurists wander fields at dawn, gathering the fallen leaves, tending to small wounds, and planting seeds in fertile soil. Joy and comfort are their offerings; laughter, their prayer. Even the simplest kindness feels heavy with sacred weight, and those touched by Aurism carry warmth into shadowed corners of the world.
Church of the Anvil
Flesh is clay. The hammer is the prayer.
The Church of the Anvil holds that flesh is clay, weak and fleeting, and that only iron and fire can temper the soul. The body is a vessel to be reforged, hardened, and perfected. Each hammer strike is a prayer; flesh is weak, steel eternal, and only through iron can one become unbroken.
Idurism
Gods are lies. Only the dying is real.
They do not pray, for gods are lies. Blood and bone mark the path they tread without concern, for life itself holds no meaning, and all around them exist merely as a canvas for the art of dying.
Order of the Sacred Light
Mercy is a blade, and it is held the same way.
They march in white robes, voices raised in endless chant, wielding mercy like a blade and sin like a shield. The faithful scourge themselves to cleanse what cannot be forgiven, and their altars are filled with both tears and flame. Salvation is a path walked in discipline, and the unseen hand of the Light guides every humble act of devotion and cruelty alike.
The Hallowed Path
No god waiting at the end of it. Walk anyway.
A godless moral code teaching that all life is a journey toward personal perfection through discipline and virtue.
The School of War
Every wound teaches. Every death is evidence.
Ragundiazal watches over those who embrace violence. Flesh is tested, courage tempered, and weakness crushed beneath the march of steel. Every wound teaches, every victory prays, and every death proves the strength of the faithful.
The Shadow Covenant
Truth is a tool, and it was never meant for you.
Deceit is sacred, and truth a toy. Maluthans twist promises, hide daggers behind smiles, and turn contracts into traps. Every whispered lie is a lesson, every hidden hand a path to power. Their priests keep secret ledgers and murmur the unspoken art of manipulation.
Tideborn Faith
All land is only land for now.
Thalyss rules the deep, her crown woven from kelp and bone, her throne the black sands far below the sun. The Seaborn offer pearls, salt, and the blood of the drowned to appease her moods. Storms are her breath, shipwrecks her laughter. Those who follow the Drowned Queen speak of the "Second Tide", when all land will sink and the faithful will rise in palaces beneath the waves.
Verdantism
Something is under the grass, and it is hungry.
A devourer of the weak, feeding the worthy with the corpses of the fallen. Hymephians see the cycle of rot and bloom as holy. Flesh will fatten the roots of tomorrow. Their priests tend to bone gardens and speak of "the hunger beneath the grass".
