North Crest Island
High cliffs of crumbling chalk face the open sea. Wind stunts the pines into twisted, permanent shapes. The few anchorages are treacherous, usable only on certain tides. What soil exists is thin and sour. The north of Crest Isle is a hard land, defined as much by what it denies as what it allows.
