The Valdrin Codex A record of what we agreed to remember

Ragundiazal's Landing

The coast known as Ragundiazal's Landing is a stone battlefield. A hundred yard wide shelf of massive, angular black basalt slabs forms the shore, heaved from the sea floor by some colossal, ancient force. The rocks bear deep, parallel grooves, etched not by waves but as if by the claws of something immense dragging itself onto the land. The sea before it is perpetually turbulent, white capped and unnaturally warm. Nothing grows on the stone. For both the Sahid and the Minotaurs, this is the holiest of sites. They believe that to stand on the Landing is to stand upon the first and final wound of the world, the place where the god of war began his exile.
